Sean Webb

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Sean is the CEO of Cabot Financial Ireland and has held this position for 10 years. He led the acquisition of the business in January 2007.
Sean has 20 years extensive experience in a broad spectrum of financial services operations. He previously worked for GE Money both in Ireland and the UK in a variety of leadership roles including as the CEO of GE Money in Ireland. Prior to his career in GE Money, Sean was the Sales Director in car distributor Nissan Ireland.
Sean started his working career with the Irish Defence Forces and held the rank as Captain; during his military career he served overseas with the United Nations.
Sean has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from National University of Ireland, Galway and a Masters in Business Studies (MBS) from University College Dublin (UCD). He is also a member of LIA.

Dara Kiernan

Head of Customer Operations

Dara is Head of Customer Operations. Dara joined Cabot Financial Ireland in 2009. In his role as Head of Customer Operations, Dara has overall responsibility for all customer facing operations ensuring that the Collections and the Mortgage Servicing teams meet the financial, compliance and service requirements of our clients. He leads and supports the department in guaranteeing that our clients’ service requirements are met; whilst at the same time sustaining excellent practices and high quality standards with a strong focus on compliance and quality assurance, ensuring that the team members share the vision, value and the ethical methodology of the company.
Over the years, Dara has demonstrated how to successfully build and lead a team year on year, whilst ensuring the performance, ethos, standards and the ethical approach of the company. In 2011, Dara led the Collections Team to win IICM Consumer Credit Team of the Year and continued this winning streak in 2012, 2014 and 2015.
Adding to this accolade, Dara, has himself been awarded IICM Consumer Credit Manager of the Year in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Dara has over 20 years’ experience in managing Consumer and Commercial Finance, IT, Collections and Operations. He previously worked for Accenture, Microsoft and Provident Personal Credit.
Dara has a Diploma in Employment Law from the Law Society of Ireland, Diploma in Credit Management from Griffith College and holds APAs (Loans and Consumer Credit) qualifications. He is currently completing an MSc in Financial Services; and is a member of LIA and the Institute of Bankers.

David Brady

Commercial Director

David Brady is the Commercial Director of Cabot Financial Ireland and has been with Cabot for over 5 years.
In this role he has the primary responsibility for both the successful Credit Union and the Telecom & Utility divisions within Cabot Financial.
These divisions provide a suite of outsource collections, legal services and a BPO offering on both live and written off accounts for its clients in their perspective sectors.
David has over ten years’ experience in the financial services and property sectors. Having previously worked with Sherry FitzGerald, PTSB Finance & Bear Sterns.

Orla Hughes

Commercial Investment Director & Executive Director

Orla held the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Cabot Financial Ireland since its acquisition in 2007 before transitioning to her current position as Commercial Investment Director in 2015. She is also an Executive Director of the Company.
Orla is a qualified accountant (ACCA), who also holds a BA Degree from National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG) and has considerable experience in both the credit servicing and IT industries. Her commercial acumen and service excellence have served the business immeasurably throughout its growth in Ireland where Cabot has become the credit service company of choice for some of Ireland’s major credit providers. Orla primarily manages the commercial investment decisions of the business as well as client relationships for Cabot’s banking clients.

Niall Purcell

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Niall holds the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Cabot Financial Ireland.
He joined Cabot Financial Ireland as Head of Finance in November 2015.
In 2017, he also took responsibility of Compliance for Cabot Financial Ireland. In this role Niall’s responsibilities include providing assurance to the business, board, clients and regulator that all activities performed by the business are in compliance with applicable regulations, company policies and client requirements, Data Protection and Risk Management.
Prior to joining Cabot Financial Ireland, Niall was CFO of Irish Life Investment Managers (ILIM), the largest Irish domestic asset manager; Niall also worked in a variety of Finance and Operations roles within ILIM and Irish Life since joining in 2002.
Niall achieved a B.Comm Degree from University College Dublin (UCD) in 1995. The following year he was sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to complete a Masters in Accounting at UCD. Niall subsequently joined PwC Dublin specialising in Financial Services and in 1998 qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Mark Weekes

Head of HR

Mark joined Cabot Financial (Ireland) in 2014. He thrives in developing an engaging and motivational culture through best practice Human Resources strategies.
Mark has more than 15 years’ experience working in Human Resources and began his career in an EMEA Contact Centre for a multinational computer hardware company; here he was immersed into high volume recruitment and generalist HR support.
Since then his experience has expanded to include Telecoms, Manufacturing, Multinational Computer Software and now Financial Services. Mark has worked as part of large HR teams and in standalone positions in highly matrixed organisations.
Mark holds a BA (Honours) in Human Resource Management qualification.
