Ken Maynard – Group Chief Executive

Ken Maynard is Group Chief Executive of Cabot Financial, having joined the Group in 1999.  Ken has successfully led two private equity managment buyouts in 2004 and 2006, turning Cabot Financial into the leading debt purchaser for the UK, and now currently expanding into Spain, France and Ireland.

Ken has extensive experience in a broad spectrum of financial service operations including banking – Lloyds Bank and TSB Bank, finance houses and call centre management.  He has in-depth credit management expertise involving both consumer and commercial portfolios gained as a Director of Woodchester Credit Lyonnais, Ventura and GE Capital, both in the UK and Eire.  Ken was lead founder of the Debt Buyers and Sellers Group and inaugural Chairman from 2004 to 2007.

Ken is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, the Institute of Credit Management and the Institute of Directors. Ken is also a Director of the Consumer Credit Trade Association and a member of the Institute of Credit Management Think Tank.

Ken is a leading expert on the credit and debt sale industry and writes many articles and speaks regularly at industry conferences.
