Cabot strengthens team with three key appointments - 19/02/2009

Cabot Financial, market leader in debt purchase, today announces three new key appointments to its West Malling based head office.  Bennedetta Peto as HR Director; David Vant as Debt Purchase Manager and James Welling as Collections Manager.

Bennedetta Peto will report to Glen Crawford, Group Managing Director, and will be responsible for all aspects of the Strategic Human Resource agenda for the UK, including training and development.  She brings with her over 20 years cross sector experience, having held a number of senior HR positions in companies such as Lloyds TSB, British Aerospace Engineering and the Kingfisher Group.

David Vant, Debt Purchase Manager, joins from CIT Capital Finance and has previously worked at a number of international banks in London including Banca Intesa and WestLB.  David has also spent 14 years at NatWest working in both consumer and commercial lending.  He brings with him, extensive experience of debt purchase, risk assessment and relationship management.

James Welling, Collections Manager, has over 12 years experience within the consumer finance and insurance industries, including branch, regional and project management roles.  He joins from Citigroup as Offshore Business Manager, where he took full operational ownership of the business in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.  In addition, James oversaw the development and implementation of new marketing, product and business development strategies across the business.
